HOPE tool for aligment of brake caliper V4 and disc 1.8 and 2.3 mm

Usage

The tool is inserted into the brake caliper (without brake pads) and secured with the screw used to secure the brake pads. The caliper with the tool is then placed on the brake disc and the caliper is tightened on the frame or fork using the mounting screws supplied with the caliper. The caliper is now in almost the perfect position to prevent rubbing against the pads. Now unscrew the locking screw, remove the tool, insert the brake pads into the caliper, and secure them again with the screw and cotter pin. Now just squeeze the brake lever to move the pads toward the disc. If necessary, lightly center the caliper relative to the disc – slightly loosen the mounting screws and tighten them again. Done.
