Accessories

Accessories for installing HAYES brakes include, for example, adapters for mounting the HAYES brake caliper on the frame or wheel fork and using the required disc diameter. With these adapters, you can, for example, mount a brake with a Post Mount (PM) caliper on a fork with an International Standard (IS) mounting type. Another mounting type is the Flat Mount (FM), for which you can also find different variants so that you can, for example, enlarge the disc to a larger diameter and thus achieve increased braking performance. Another very common feature is also the adapter / reduction for mounting the shifter directly on the brake lever, so you can achieve clean handlebars without additional unnecessary clamps specifically for the shifter or telescopic seatpost control.
