Hayes brake discs include the D-Series, V-Series and L-Series models, which differ in both purpose and material thickness. The D-Series discs, with a thickness of 1.95mm, are designed for maximum heat resistance and stability under extreme loads, ideal for demanding descents and intense riding. The V-Series discs are 1.75mm thick and offer lightweight construction and high durability, making them a great choice for fast and dynamic riding. L-Series discs, at 1.7mm thick, offer a lower heat capacity, making them ideal for lightweight XC bikes and less demanding terrain where you'll appreciate their light weight and efficiency.
