By mounting type
You can also distinguish MAGURA, HOPE brake discs by the way they are mounted on the hub. There are basically two basic types of disc mounting. Standard or by means of 6 screws or Center Lock, when the disc is fixed on the hub by means of one tightening nut on the toothed part of the hub on which the disc is mounted. Before buying a reel, you need to find out what fit you have on your hub and then it is entirely up to you which reel you ultimately decide on, whether HOPE or MAGURA. We always recommend combining the same brands of brake and discs because they are tuned both by dimensions (especially thickness), height of the braking surface, but also by material to deliver the best braking effect.
