Brake lever MAGURA MT & HS handlebar clamp, aluminium, matt silver

• replacement clamp for brake levers of MAGURA MT disc brakes and MAGURA HS rim brakes
• MAGURA handlebar clamp is made of solid aluminium with MAGURA (or M) logo
• the clamp can be installed on either the left or right side or the left or right MAGURA brake lever
• the clamp is eccentric and so the instructions for tightening the clamp on the handlebar must be observed, see below
• do not exceed the manufacturer's tightening torque = 4Nm !

Correct tightening of the clam

The clamp is eccentric and care must be taken to ensure correct installation. There are small arrows stamped on the sides of the clamp (next to the letter "M"). Install the clamp on the handlebar with the handlebar pointing upwards. Then insert and tighten the top bolt of the clamp so that the clamp touches the brake lever body (there is no gap between the sleeve and the lever body). Then top tighten bolt to a tightening torque = max 4 Nm, but 2 Nm is recommended (in case of a fall, the lever will rotate on the handlebar, eliminating possible destruction of the lever body)!. Then insert and start tightening the bottom bolt of the clamp. Again tighten to the maximum tightening torque specified by the manufacturer = 4 Nm, here again we recommend rather 2 Nm. There will be a small gap between the lever body and the clamp at the bottom of the clamp (correct condition). To check the correct rotation of the clamp, you can also follow the small letter = M (MAGURA) logo, which will be readable from the rider's point of view as "M" and not "W". If the correct mounting is not observed, you risk losing your warranty!
