Brake MAGURA CMe5 | 4-finger lever blade ball-end | right

Disc hydraulic brake MAGURA MT5 is special 4-piston brake for cargo, commuting and also their electric versions. MAGURA CMe5 is a very powerfull brake with 4-piston brake caliper made on the MAGURA MT5 basis. The braking system was developed in collaboration with BOSCH for the BOSCH E-Bike Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) and meets its technical requirements to enable safe and controlled braking. You benefit from this development even without ABS equipped on your bike. Brake lever body is made from aluminium alloy assembled with axial piston. Lever is supplied with 4-finger aluminium lever blade with ball-end. Longer lever blade delivers amazing braking power and ball-end is a another security feature which should avoid finger slippering from lever blade. 4-piston caliper is made from one piece of aluminium alloy and is supplied with MAGURA 9.P Performance brake pads - universal compound for every situation. 2-pads on each side of caliper are connected in one piece.

Brake lever

• brake lever body is made from aluminium alloy for maximum brake power deliery and durability
• brake is supplied with 4-finger aluminium lever blade with great modulation and ball-end
• ball-end is a another security feature which should avoid finger slippering from lever blade
• BE AWARE! This brake on this lever is not possible mount shiftmix clamps for shifters!
• brake lever is equiped with EBT bleeding port (Easy Bleed Technology) for easy bleeding
• this brake is made for left hand! BE AWARE! Lever is not flip-flop compare to MAGURA MT levers.
• lever MAGURA MT5 offers the possibility to set the distance of lever blade from handlebars with torx T25 key

Brake caliper

• 4-piston caliper MAGURA have a black closing piston bolts with grey ring covers
• caliper is equiped with magnetic Xchange pistons, so there is not necessary to put spring plate between brake pads
• supplied with rotatable hose connection
• post mount resp. PM brake mount of caliper
• caliper is supplied with MAGURA 9.P brake pads resp. model Performance
• 2-pads on each side of caliper are connected in one piece
• MAGURA Performance brake pads are great universal pads for every situation
• caliper is made from one piece of aluminium allloy, so there are not losses of brake power like on two piece caliper design
• in the package are also M6 tightening bolts for mounting on frame or fork (with torx T25 key which is supplied in the box)

Hose

• brake is supplied with MAGURA kevlar hydraulic hose
• lenght of whole non-shortened hose is 2200mm
• in the package you will fing all necessary parts which you will use for during hose shortening on desired lenght

Recommended rotors

• we recommend use MAGURA CMe5 brake with MAGURA Storm HC, MAGURA MDR-C + CL or MAGUAR MDR-P rotors
• we recommend use 160mm, 180mm, 203mm or 220mm rotor diameters
• BE AWARE! Disc rotors or adapters are not supplied with the brake!

Brake weight

• weight of whole brake is 305g including full lenght of hose, without rotor and tightening M6 bolts
