Brake lever blade
MAGURA brakes according to the number of fingers or length of the brake lever. The longer the lever, the more power the brake is able to generate due to the greater over-steer. However, with a longer lever comes more modulation or power dosage, but also more rubberiness of the lever. A longer lever allows you to move the brake further back into the center of the handlebar, bringing the grips closer to the control boards of the seat tube or the electric motor control. Shorter levers, on the other hand, feel rather hard when squeezed, are less modulatable and offer slightly less power. But if you're riding shorter handlebars, where there's not much room to move the brake more towards the stem, a shorter lever may be just the thing.
